Martha Schwartz Partners is hiring landscape architects to join its London studio.
The landscape architects will work on a range of high-quality international projects. Candidates should be highly creative, dynamic, focused and efficient people of the highest calibre to join our talented team.
Key skills, qualifications and experience:
– bachelor degree in landscape architecture
– minimum of three years experience in developing designs for complex landscape projects
– excellent design skills
– excellent CAD (2D and 3D), Rhino and Adobe Suite skills
– good communication and coordination skills, including the ability to sketch/develop designs on paper as well as digitally
– experience of working directly with clients and other consultants
– team focused, collaborative
– ability to work effectively in large project teams
– fluency in English

Detailed job description:
– ensure that Martha Schwartz Partners remains at the forefront of cutting edge design solutions and that the company’s vision, mission and goals are advanced
– ensure that all design work is completed to the highest standard and in line with the company strategy/philosophy and quality assured systems and procedures
– assist and support in the overall design and production of all project based deliverables
– ensure the overall design direction of the project is fulfilled as directed by the senior designer
– ensure that daily tasks that have been assigned are completed by the end of each day
– ensure that you report to the senior designer at the end of each day relating to the completion of your tasks
– participate in design reviews
– ensure highest quality technical standards are met on each project (working under the direction of the directors and senior designers)
– identify opportunities to improve the quality/format of the end product in co-ordination with the senior designer
– assist the senior designer in the coordination with external consultancy teams involved in projects
– assist the senior designer in maintaining project files and records
– assist the senior designer in sending and receiving project information
