Início em 10/01/2018 até 08/04/2018
The Architecture Fringe has launched an open call for submissions to its 2018 open programme.
The Architecture Fringe was launched in 2016 by a group of architects, designers, photographers, engineers, visual artists and curators to encourage public debate about architecture and design in Scotland within its broader socio-political context.
Celebrating its third incarnation as an independent, contributor-led festival, the Architecture Fringe this year explores architecture and its social impact under the framework of COMMON / SENSES.
Those wishing to participate in the open programme are invited to submit proposals which consider any of the themes suggested by COMMON (shared experiences, the everyday, communal ownership) or SENSES (sensory perception, empathy, appreciation) or broader notions of ‘common sense’ and ‘what sound practical judgement independent of specialised knowledge or training can contribute to the culture of architecture’.
How you use the platform and provocation is up to you – projects may take the form of exhibitions, performances, discussions, screenings, installations, writing, lectures, walks, music, temporary structures…
Confirmed projects must be submitted for inclusion in the programme by 12 noon on Monday 9 April 2018.
