Rotterdam is one of the most important European capitals of contemporary architecture. The buildings that are transforming the urban skyline make the Dutch city a place favorable to change and innovative impulses. Note for the dams that today form the ring-lined Rotterdam has succeded, over the centuries, to establish itself as a fundamental port outpost for businesses throughout Europe. The bombings of the Second World War imposed a construction of numerous skyscrapers in the late twentieth century. The new expansion area extends along the banks of the Maas River and has buildings designed by world-renowned architects such as Renzo Piano, Norman Foster and Rem Koolhaas. Near the Markthal, signed by MVRVD studio, we want to imagine the design of a residential complex able to fit into a context with strong modernist impulses. Rotterdam Green Housing will have to provide accommodation the peoples of the new millennium with large green areas that will become meeting places for the local community. A place where will live the space with innovative attitude.

Conditions of participation
There is no limit for the competition. I allowed to contest all those who want to deal with the theme proposed, whatever their country of origin. There are no age limits, can enroll graduate students, graduates or professionals. You can participate as an individual or as a group. In the second case it is necessary to elect a leader to have a contact person to which official communications. Each participant may submit only one project and not be part of more than one grouping. All competitors have the same rights and must fulfill the same obligations. Groups can be mixed or use more professional, they may be made simultaneously by graduate and undergraduate students.
