Alban Wagener, born in Luxembourg 1985, finished his architecture studies at the Technische Universität Wien in 2015. He graduated with distinction under the guidance of Univ. Prof. Arch. DI András Pálffy.
During his studies he collaborated with the following architectural studios KSP Jürgen Engel (DE) and Valentiny Architectes (LU).
Before opening his own practice in Porto, in Portugal, he was working with David Chipperfield Architects in London.
During his second master, Alban got an insight into building physics and waked his interest in an ecological approach in Architecture. Having lived in several metropolitan cities like Vienna and London gives him a wide aspect of different methods in architecture and public space. His studies at the technical university of Vienna, gave him an insight in the technical and structural understanding of Architecture that he combines with an interest for locally resourced materials and traditional construction methods. His dedication and perseverance are key elements to his work practice.
