Conservation of the Taoudenni Salt mines and Memorial.
There is a place in the north of Mali called Taoudenni. Located at the core of the Sahara Desert this place is a Salt mine, human beings have dug by hand this territory for centuries and there are about 6000 perfectly squared holes in the ground.
Sometime in the future, this area will stop being used as a salt mine, therefore the future of this incredible landmark must be thought out.
The idea is to clean out the area from the leftover rocks and collect them in an area north, this would serve as a memorial of the quantity of rock been excavated providing the place with a new positive cultural meaning.
