ATA Atelier

ATA is an architecture atelier from Porto, founded in 2021. It emerges from an awareness process towards an eidetic reduction of the architectural practice, in other words, an operation of synthesis of the issues considered fundamental in the designing and thinking action. The most relevant is the ability to use an analytical method as the main tool for project work, in which Place gains particular prominence. It sets a solid base to explore the relation between themes such as typology, materiality, form, space, and composition, among others. This work method seeks to promote better responses, not only regarding the needs and programs required but also in its functional and formal relationship with the city.

ATA is a shortlisted studio for the EUMies Awards 2024.
